Admissions Office is Open and School Tour Continues as Normal

10.02.2020

In less than seven months, it will be the new school year 2020-21. We understand that parents are concerned about school placements and visiting the campus that is why we have the following arrangements.

Our Admissions Office remains open during business hours (weekday from 9.00am to 5.00pm). Should you have any questions, please feel free to contact us at admissions@was.edu.hk. We will be more than happy to answer any questions and assist you in choosing the right school for your child(ren).

We are now accepting registration for daily School Tours at our Tin Wan Campus. Please be assured that our campus is thoroughly sanitized daily, and everyone’s temperature is taken and recorded. If you have recently travelled to China, we would like to kindly ask that you book an appointment 14 days after your arrival in Hong Kong. A New Way of Learning – WASHK Learning Platform

10.02.2020

Through collaborative efforts, our ICT Manager and Head of iSteam have developed WASHK’s Learning Platform, which is an online platform enabling our teachers and pupils to continue their everyday teaching and learning.

We are pleased to share some screenshots from our teachers and parents on the WASHK Learning Platform. Despite the difficult situation, we are happy to see our pupils engaging happily with the assignments we are providing on the Learning Platform, together with their parents.

The WASHK Learning Platform helps teachers and pupils to communicate, share assignments and receive feedback for their completed work. The platform is sectioned by subject channels so that pupils are in immediate contact with their subject teacher.

At Wycombe Abbey School Hong Kong, we are committed to offering you and your children the best learning experience we can provide in the current circumstances.

Chinese New Year Laisee Design Competition

17.01.2020

Laisee, which means good luck, are red envelopes that married couples give to their unmarried relatives, friends and colleagues. These are given during Chinese New Year as a sign of passing on their blessing and thanking them for their contributions in the past year. Nowadays, Laisee designs are becoming trendier with cute and creative designs.

Wycombe Abbey School Hong Kong held a ‘Chinese New Year Laisee Design Competition’ where pupils are welcome to submit their creative designs. Since this year is the Year of the Rat, many pupils used this as their main inspiration.

The winning designs were printed and made into real Laisee envelopes and given to the WASHK community.

1st Place: Koen

2nd Place: Lily

WASHK Christmas Play 2019

13.12.2019

Dear Parents

Thank you to everyone who was able to come and support our Christmas Play earlier this week. I was so proud of our pupils as they enjoyed performing on stage. It was a wonderful community moment to see so many of our parents laughing and clapping in the audience.

Please find a video of our pupils singing We Wish You a Merry Christmas.

Best Wishes,

Howard Tuckett

Headmaster
